This new class at CULTIVAR is based on the global fitness movement currently sweeping the globe – the HYROX Fitness Race.
If you’re yet to see or experience HYROX, it is a race that combines both running & functional workout stations, where participants run 1km, followed by 1 functional workout station, repeated eight times.

We’ve been keeping an eye on HYROX as it has grown in popularity over the past year or two. It is very closely related and complementary to CrossFit. It is a great addition to your weekly training, for the days where you want to deload the body from the heavy neurological impact of weightlifting and still get a great workout in.
It is also a great option for those who have always wanted to push themselves competitively, but aren’t as well versed or enamoured with high skills gymnastics and weightlifting. Instead, you just need to focus on your ability to repeat efforts like the 1km run and then bodyweight /  light resistance movements like wall balls, ski erg, lunges and so on.
Each race is hosted indoors in expansive exhibition halls, with Brisbane getting its first ever race this August!

CLASSES ARE RUN 6AM TUESDAYS AND 6PM THURSDAYS WITH LIMITED NUMBERS IN EACH, SO BOOK IN EARLY*
